A Journey of Faith, Service, and God’s Calling
10/26/2026
Over the years, I have seen the PCMP mission facilities expand to include multiple buildings—a church, classroom space for K–13 classes, a preschool, housing for mission workers, staff transportation, a well system, solar power, a garden, chicken pens, a home for a staff family caring for the livestock and land, and a playground with a concrete basketball court.
All of this was made possible under Jude’s leadership, alongside his extended family, local community workers, and caring mission teams.
I am so grateful for your prayers and for standing alongside us in this ministry.
With warm regards,
Ken Taylor

Dear Friends and Supporters:
My name is Ken Taylor, and I currently serve as a board member for Philadelphia Christian Mission of Pignon (PCMP).
In March 2006, my family needed to remodel my daughter’s home to accommodate my granddaughter. She was scheduled to be released from a local physical therapy rehabilitation facility in thirty days following a severe injury that left her unable to walk, talk, or care for her basic physical needs. It was truly amazing to watch family, friends, and even strangers come together to complete the major renovation required—accomplishing most of the work within those thirty days.
One of the volunteers helping at the home was a Haitian man named Jude Augusma, who had moved from Haiti with his wife and three sons. I was deeply moved by how Jude, a complete stranger, generously gave his time to help with the home remodel and even assisted in building a new garage to replace the one lost during the renovation.
As we worked and talked, I saw a man with a true servant's heart, willing to serve wherever God led him. I learned that in the 1990s, Jude completed his education in Iowa through mission support before returning to Haiti to serve God through an education-focused Christian ministry. Through prayer, I felt led to serve God by supporting Jude in his work with his home community in Haiti.
Although I cannot travel to Haiti myself, I have chosen to do what I can locally to offer encouragement and support to Jude, his family, and everyone in our community who serves in this mission field. Through Jude and PCMP's focus, my faith has grown, and I have watched my church community grow through their active involvement and support. I remain open to serving however God leads.
