Get to Know PCMP: Our Mission, Our Impact, and Our Vision for the Future

10/17/2026

I invite you to get to know us better by browsing our web site and reaching out with any questions you may have. We would love to connect with you or a group you are a part of, and we also can provide information on how you might join us on a trip to Haiti.

Please stay tuned in the coming weeks as we share our vision for the future. This will include expanding our community and agricultural initiatives, as well as developing ideas to provide vocational training for our high school graduates as they step into adulthood.

Peace and blessings to you,
Greg Blumhagen
Board President
Philadelphia Christian Mission of Pignon (PCMP)

Dear Friends and Supporters:

My name is Greg Blumhagen, and I currently serve as the board president for Philadelphia Christian Mission of Pignon (PCMP). I first traveled to Haiti over 20 years ago, meeting Jude Augusma, our executive director, at an informational meeting before my very first trip. Little did I know at the time the profound impact that decision—and Jude—would have on my life.

From the moment I landed that first time in Pignon and took morning walks in the village with my Haiti buddy Bob Vaughn, I’ve had a heart for Haiti. The seeds of PCMP were actually planted a few years before that, when a short-term mission team asked Jude—who was working at the local hospital in Haiti at the time—if he knew of any community needs they could help address. He introduced them to a small group of people who were using a 1 room building for a worship service and classroom. Eventually, this would become Philadelphia Church and School. Today, PCMP is providing Christian education through our Pre-K through grade 12 school, fellowship with a growing member church, community initiatives, a mission center for group impact trips, and agricultural programs like our chicken and gardening projects.
